相較古典歌劇較為小眾的受眾群體，音樂劇以其現(xiàn)代化，國(guó)際化，市場(chǎng)化的特點(diǎn)瞬間燃爆整個(gè)國(guó)內(nèi)演出市場(chǎng)，同時(shí)不失戲劇性和多元性的特色使音樂劇也具有相應(yīng)的門檻和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。中國(guó)音樂劇市場(chǎng)規(guī)模近三年來每年都幾乎成倍擴(kuò)大，在這樣的大環(huán)境下，想要學(xué)習(xí)的音樂劇的同學(xué)也就越來越多。
今天我們就來重點(diǎn)說說音樂劇留學(xué)要注意哪些問題?
1，關(guān)于國(guó)家
倫敦西區(qū)和紐約百老匯是世界上唯二兩個(gè)可以成為世界音樂劇中心的地方，同時(shí)也帶動(dòng)了奧利弗獎(jiǎng)和托尼獎(jiǎng)這兩個(gè)戲劇類獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)的發(fā)展。這代表著，英美在音樂劇表演、教育、后臺(tái)制作等方面享有其他國(guó)家無法比擬的資源。更多的資源也就意味著更多的機(jī)會(huì)，毫無疑問都是英美院校能提供更多的可能。
英美院校教學(xué)質(zhì)量過硬，課程安排合理，所以單從學(xué)校的教育質(zhì)量來看，英美院校的認(rèn)可度更高。
2，關(guān)于選校
不要一味的相信學(xué)校排名!有些排名高的院校未必專業(yè)好，排名不好的院校未必專業(yè)差，要是一味的只看排名，會(huì)少丟掉很多選擇機(jī)會(huì)。
確定好學(xué)校后，一定要確定自己申請(qǐng)的學(xué)校是否有這個(gè)專業(yè)，本科還是研究生!有一些學(xué)校是只有本科沒有碩士的，比如卡內(nèi)基梅隆、密歇根安娜堡等。有一些學(xué)校甚至沒有音樂劇專業(yè)，比如茱莉亞音樂學(xué)院。不要盲目的相信網(wǎng)上的信息，不一定準(zhǔn)確，否則到了申請(qǐng)的時(shí)候沒有專業(yè)可以申請(qǐng)那就悲劇了!
3，關(guān)于語(yǔ)言
在音樂劇方面，英語(yǔ)系的劇目還是牢牢占據(jù)著統(tǒng)治地位，而且在影響力方面對(duì)其他語(yǔ)種呈現(xiàn)碾壓之勢(shì)。
如果你的英語(yǔ)不好，那要加油了~音樂劇專業(yè)作為“表演類藝術(shù)之王”，對(duì)于口語(yǔ)和聽力的要求非常高，像是皇家蘇格蘭碩士專業(yè)都要求7.5以上的雅思成績(jī)，更有甚者，還有學(xué)校要求雅思達(dá)到8.0以上。
關(guān)于作品集
要給自己留足夠的時(shí)間準(zhǔn)備。在準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)申請(qǐng)和作品集的過程中，總會(huì)遇到各種各樣的問題，所以越早開始準(zhǔn)備越好。
選擇合適的作品非常重要!在學(xué)校規(guī)定的曲目和獨(dú)白范圍內(nèi)，選擇適合自己年齡、性格、音色、音域的作品，能起到事半功倍的效果，也會(huì)省去很多不必要的麻煩。
在錄制之前，需要多多練習(xí)選的作品，留出一些時(shí)間，拋開其他的事情，專心準(zhǔn)備最后的錄制，從錄制前兩周開始調(diào)整自己的心情和狀態(tài)，讓自己保持在最佳的狀態(tài)。

Two contrasting one-minute selections from the Musical Theatre repertoire; one up-tempo, one ballad
A one-minute, memorized monologue of your choice.
Perform a dance of your choosing, or from the following suggested genres: contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, or tap. The selection should be no longer than one minute. Do not submit videos from performances. You should be the only person in the video.

One song should be written prior to 1970. This song can be either the up-tempo or the ballad (student’s choice).
One song should be written after 1970 and contrast the style of the first (can include jukebox musicals)

Students must sing to live or recorded accompaniment; no a cappella singing

舞蹈
You are invited to submit an additional video that reveals more information about your unique interests, skills, and personality. Students with dance training or experience (ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, salsa, South Asian, folk, swing, etc.) are especially encouraged to do so. “Wild card” examples may include playing an instrument, performing a self-written song or monologue, rap, acrobatics, stand up comedy, spoken word, magic, drag, impersonations, etc.
Time limit: 1 minute.
03 卡內(nèi)基梅隆大學(xué)(只有本科)
卡內(nèi)基梅隆大學(xué)的本科音樂劇課程是四年制的，所有學(xué)表演，或者音樂的學(xué)生的核心課程是一樣的。
第一年學(xué)習(xí)基礎(chǔ)的知識(shí)和技巧;第二年則會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)怎樣將所學(xué)的技巧在當(dāng)代戲劇中實(shí)踐;在第三年，學(xué)生會(huì)發(fā)掘自己的表演風(fēng)格，這一年學(xué)生們將公開表演;到了第四年，學(xué)生會(huì)有機(jī)會(huì)出國(guó)留學(xué)，在舞臺(tái)劇中擔(dān)任角色，同時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)商務(wù)課程。
作品集要求
Resume including any training and experience in theater, film, music and dance as well as academic achievements, work experience and community service.
Headshot
Each piece should be filmed/uploaded as a separate piece of media. No continuous videos. Students are encouraged to use standard technology/recording devices that are available to them (i.e. smartphones, tablets, etc).
There should not be a separate "slate" video, rather slates are to appear at the beginning of each piece. The proper slate for a song is to share your name, the title, and the show in which it appears. The proper slate for a monologue is to share your name, the title of the play, and the playwright.
PRE-SCREENING MONOLOGUES
Monologues must be from a published play
